I purchased this fragrance months ago and have enjoyed wearing it very much. I have received compliments from men and women. Earthy scents speak to me. It has almost a post-modern patchouli odor. There is a heavy dose of cedar, my favorite odor, in it. And it’s rare to find a fragrance that includes oud, another wonderful smell. I will buy a second bottle when this is finished.

The Day fragrance is one of the best scents I’ve ever encountered. My boyfriend got a sample of it on our trip to Asheville, used the whole thing, and then I bought him a bottle for Christmas. We both love it — sometimes I steal a spray of it myself! It’s definitely gender neutral and subtle. Unfortunately his bottle broke going through TSA at the airport so now he needs to get another bottle 🙁 But the price is well worth it.

Probably the best fragrances that have ever reached my nostrils. I purchased a bottle of Milliner, and samples of 4 other fragrances. I won’t get into the other fragrances, (save for Garden Party because it is such a treat to wear with linen!), but these fragrances are different on every person… Distinctively! My good buddy wore The Milliner first and smelled sweet, vanilla, and lady-like. I lean toward the more feminine interpretations so I purchased it without trying it on. I get home, take a shower, spritz myself and approach the wife ready to blast my comfortable lady-like vanilla-esque musk. As I approached her, doing her hair intently, her eyes light up she turns around, burying her face in my chest, then inhales deeply for what felt like an entire week, before stopping to say, “you smell like newborn puppies, and cedar chips… I love it.” My mind was blown away! Could this fragrance be any more different on me. It softened throughout the day before transitioning into some of the softer tones that I had smelled on my friend, but still maintaining that “newborn” fragrance. I knew I loved this fragrance early on, and now there is a story to go with it. I wear it every single day and anyone should be lucky to experience it.

It’s so hard to find a scent that isn’t overpowering yet still has magnificent lingering power. I tried “Kitten” and I’m truly smitten. I literally feel like the most seductive person alive when I’m wearing it, it stops people in their tracks even when I just throw on a t-shirt from the day before when I last spritzed. I’d describe it as all musk at dusk with a hint of flowery vanilla. Or something along those lines! A lot of scents for me, if they have any staying power, seem to odorously change for the worst and sometimes even become foul to me. And my favorites just disappear within the hour, especially all-natural ones. Synthetics, or commercial brands are too overpowering or change too much with my chemistry or mood. This is just perfect and also subtly lifts my mood.
I can’t wait to try more scents, I plan to order a bunch of mini ones, as suggested. I wish I could try more of their products but I’m so married to my routine and the products I’ve curated through the years. But the range and palette in the sophisticated yet charming store are truly impressive. I did try a super velvety moisture cream I’m coming back for though!
I highly recommend these fragrances as the perfect gift for you or someone that doesn’t need but DESERVES a bit of of a boost and confidence. Kitten may not be for a wallflower but I’m sure there is something for everyone.

Stopped into the store last weekend while on a short get away to Asheville. Wondered into the store by accident and came upon the Spring scent. Bought the small sample and I like it so much I just ordered online the large size. Regardless of how it smells though, if the staff inside the store wasn’t so incredibly friendly and down to earth, I wouldn’t have thought to place the order. Customer service is everything! cowboy. cowboy cowboy cowboy. Zack was really patient, engaging, and informative as he listened to my preferences and directed me towards fragrances he thought might suit me. I also learned a lot about how to wear and test fragrances which was fun. I ultimately picked Cowboy to actually test on myself then left the store to wander Asheville and let it gel with my body chemistry. That’s where things got really interesting. At first I thought it was, maybe, too sweet and musky then over the course of the hour it evolved. Gradually, I started picking up all these complex high notes. I guess my cowboy started out in the barn, smoked a cigar in the saloon, lit a fire with wood from the Boswellia tree (frankinsence), and watched the sunset from an old cabin near the ocean because the scent I was left with has an amazing earthy clarity to it. Over the past few days I’ve been practicing putting on my fragrance like a final piece of clothing. After the initial hour this fragrance is stable ALL day and I don’t go nose blind to it, making it so much better than other, more expensive, fragrances I’ve tested. Great job, Zack! and thanks, S+S! I can’t wait to try the other samples I picked up after my love affair with Cowboy cools down:)
